The Aquarium de Guadeloupe contains thirty basins filled with 450,000 liters of seawater, displaying marine species from the Caribbean Sea.
The facility opened its doors in 1985 and underwent an additional inauguration ceremony in 1987, becoming the most visited museum in Guadeloupe.
The institution manages the Karet association, the only sea turtle care center in the Lesser Antilles, contributing to marine conservation efforts.
Located at Place Creole Marina, the aquarium welcomes visitors daily from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM with audio guides available in French, English, and Spanish.
The facility organizes educational excursions to explore the mangroves, lagoon, and coral reef under the guidance of diving instructors.
