Plage de Bas-du-Fort

Plage de Bas-du-Fort is a 600-meter stretch of golden sand located on the coast of Le Gosier with clear turquoise waters perfect for swimming. The beach has a gentle slope that makes it accessible for families and visitors of all ages.

Fort Fleur d'Épée was built during the 18th century to protect the coastline and still stands near the beach entrance as a historical landmark. This fortress played an important role in defending the island against naval attacks from rival powers.
