Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Becquerel

The chapel features a wooden vaulted ceiling with two pointed-arch arcades crossing the transepts and a square apse set above ground level. The structure displays Gothic elements in its stone construction.

The chapel was built in the 16th century as a religious structure in the area. It received official historical monument protection status through a decree in 1925.

The interior contains religious wooden carvings showing Saint Pascal, the Virgin and Child, and Saint Barbara, reflecting local devotion through traditional sculpted forms.

The chapel is located along the road to Plougoumelen and can be reached on foot. Regular worship services take place, and visitors can explore the building and surrounding grounds.

A spring bubbles up beneath the apse and fills a basin, while a modern calvary connects to a semicircular enclosure wall through stone steps. This blend of water and sacred structures gives the site its distinctive character.
