The Château de Montvillargenne stands in a six-hectare park with century-old trees, surrounded by three forests in the Hauts-de-France region.
Built in 1911 by Jeanne de Rothschild, daughter of James Édouard de Rothschild, the château changed functions from private residence to German occupation site during World War II.
The château exhibits neo-Norman architectural elements with half-timbering, designed by Léon-Maurice Chatenay who created the Rothschild ophthalmological foundation in Paris.
This four-star hotel contains 119 rooms and suites, multiple dining venues, an indoor swimming pool, and 21 meeting rooms for business gatherings.
The castle grounds feature terraced gardens designed by Charles Masson, incorporating Italian garden principles adapted to the natural slope of the terrain.
