The Potager des Princes features terraced gardens with traditional vegetable plots, a bamboo maze, and a Japanese garden along the Saint-Jean Canal.
André Le Nôtre designed the terraces in the 17th century on the former gardens of the Grand Condé, establishing the main structure of the current site.
The Faisanderie Theatre hosts concerts and theatrical performances, including the La Scène au Jardin festival during the summer season.
The site offers guided tours in multiple languages and requires approximately one hour to walk through the kilometer of landscaped paths.
The first Japanese vegetable garden in France opened in 2023 with the Japanese ambassador's inauguration, expanding the collection of themed gardens.
