Château de Pont-Chevron

The Château de Pont-Chevron is a castle with neoclassical architecture located in Ouzouer-sur-Trézée. The building features symmetrical facades and sits on an estate with a large lake spanning about 27 hectares.

The castle was built between 1896 and 1900 under Count Louis d'Harcourt's direction. It replaced an earlier fortress that had stood on an island.

The name Pont-Chevron refers to an old bridge that once marked this location. Visitors can still sense this connection to local heritage when walking the grounds.

The estate can be used for private events such as weddings and conferences. It has 13 bedrooms available for overnight guests.

Roman mosaics from the 2nd century were discovered in 1962 near the castle marshes, revealing traces of ancient baths. These findings show the site held importance even in ancient times.
