Chaubuisson manor, 19th-century hunting lodge in Fontenay-Trésigny, France

Chaubuisson Manor is a 19th-century hunting lodge set on an estate spanning 14 hectares with a main building and numerous outbuildings. The property features classically designed interior spaces including dining rooms with decorative moldings and multiple bedrooms distributed across several levels.

The manor was built in 1893 on land with roots extending back to the Louis XIII period, when it held the status of a lordship. The property later became associated with Parisian civic leadership and urban governance.

The property features Anglo-Norman architectural elements, with classical moldings in the dining room and fifteen bedrooms spread across multiple floors.

The estate sits roughly 45 minutes from Paris and is easily accessible by car. Visitors will find multiple event spaces, seminar rooms, indoor swimming facilities, and outdoor tennis courts throughout the grounds.

French musician Michel Polnareff spent more than a year living and composing in one of the park pavilions on the property. Locals and those connected to the house knew this small building by an affectionate nickname.
