The Musée Clemenceau displays the preserved apartment, personal belongings, and garden of Georges Clemenceau at 8 rue Benjamin Franklin in Paris.
Georges Clemenceau led France as Prime Minister during World War I and resided in this building from 1895 until his death in 1929.
The museum exhibits Clemenceau's collection of books, manuscripts, photographs, and artifacts that illustrate his contributions to French journalism and politics.
The museum welcomes visitors Tuesday through Saturday from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM, with access from Passy or Trocadéro metro stations.
The first floor contains Clemenceau's original military coat and gaiters worn during his World War I front line visits.
