Musée Pierre-Noël de Saint-Dié-des-Vosges

The museum spans multiple buildings, combining a modern structure with an 18th-century episcopal palace connected by a historic colonnade.

The museum, which opened in 1977, incorporates architectural elements from different periods, including a medieval covered staircase from the original church district.

The permanent collection displays post-war art featuring works by Zao Wou-ki, Jean Bazaine, Alfred Manessier, and Fernand Léger, alongside regional artifacts.

From June to September, the museum welcomes visitors daily except Tuesdays from 10:00 to 12:00 and 13:30 to 18:00, with reduced hours during winter months.

Three exterior relief panels created by Françoise Malaprade depict themes of knowledge, leisure, and social gathering through architectural art installations.
