The postal building, designed by architect Louis Perreau, opened in 1909 on the site of the former fortified castle of Dijon.
The architectural elements of the building reflect the transition period between traditional and modern styles of the early 20th century.
The 14,000-square-meter complex includes postal services, a dental center, a MGEN agency, and shared working spaces.
A well from the former fortified castle of Dijon remains preserved in the postal building's boiler room.
