Château de Boulbon

Château de Boulbon rises from a rocky ridge overlooking the Rhône Valley, with fortified walls and construction details spanning from early medieval times onward. The structure combines defensive features with residential areas arranged across multiple levels.

Construction began in the 11th century at this strategic location, with major additions and modifications continuing into the 17th century. The fortress evolved through these building phases while maintaining its core defensive and residential functions.
