The Bois-Salair Castle features Scottish architectural elements with a prominent tower surrounded by the Salair forest near Fontaine-Daniel.

Industrial entrepreneur Charles Weyher built this castle in 1895 to conduct research on whirlpools and marine phenomena.

The Orthodox Monastery of the Nativity of the Mother of God currently occupies the castle, maintaining Orthodox monastic traditions.

Visitors can attend daily vespers at 5:30 PM and Sunday Divine Liturgy at 9:00 AM within the castle grounds.

The castle's monastic shop sells handcrafted beeswax candles, open to visitors on Fridays and Saturdays.
