Punta della Serra

Punta della Serra is a mountain summit in northern Corsica reaching 757 meters. The slopes are steep in places and natural pathways wind through scrubland and vegetation typical of the Mediterranean region.

The summit has served as a navigation landmark for shepherds and travelers crossing Corsica's mountains since ancient times. Over centuries it remained an important geographical reference for local communities and passing merchants.

Local residents maintain traditional seasonal festivals at the base of Punta della Serra, celebrating the agricultural cycles and mountain heritage of Corsica.

Several marked trails reach the summit from different starting points around the area. The eastern route offers a more moderate gradient for those less experienced with mountain walking.

On clear winter days visitors can see both the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains of mainland Italy from the summit. These distant views reveal the geographical connections of the wider region.
