Originally used by Augustinians from 1326, the cathedral transformed into a Greek Catholic residence in 1791 after Emperor Joseph II closed the monastery.
The interior displays paintings by Josip Bauer and contains a marble ambon with a chandelier decorated with apostles and evangelists representations.
