Co-Cathedral of the Holy Cross, Križevci

The Co-Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Križevci is a Gothic religious building featuring a single nave arranged in a Latin cross plan. The structure measures approximately 38 meters in length and 8.5 meters in width.

The building originated as an Augustinian monastery in 1326 and was later reconstructed by Franciscans in 1627 following destruction by Turkish forces. This reconstruction shaped the structure visitors see today.

The cathedral maintains Greek Catholic traditions, with services conducted in Old Church Slavonic and without musical instruments during worship. This approach shapes the spiritual experience distinctly for visitors today.
