Rohonci Street Stadium was a football arena featuring a grass pitch and surrounding spectator stands for viewing matches. The venue accommodated crowds for sporting events throughout its operational years.
The facility opened in 1923 as the home ground for the local football club. It was demolished in 2016 to make way for a new modern sports complex.
The stadium served as the home ground for Szombathelyi Haladás FC, a team deeply rooted in local pride. Fans gathered here regularly to support their club and share memorable moments together.
The grounds had various entry points and provided parking areas for visitors. Arriving early on match days helps ensure good seating and avoids the biggest crowds.
In the final days before demolition in 2016, supporters purchased seats as keepsakes. These pieces preserve memories of the ground in private collections throughout the city.
