Abbey Vocational School

Abbey Vocational School is a secondary institution in Donegal Town with classrooms, computer rooms, science and engineering facilities spread throughout the building. It houses spaces for music and sports alongside traditional teaching areas.

The school opened in 1953 as Donegal Technical School and relocated to Ballyshannon Road in 1982 under its current name. This move reflected the institution's evolution in serving vocational education needs.

The school is accessed from Ballyshannon Road and features modern facilities for both academic and practical learning. Access to the grounds may be limited during regular school hours.

In 1972, temporary classes operated across eight different locations throughout Donegal Town while waiting for the construction of the current building.
