Croaghgorm, Mountain summit in County Donegal, Ireland

Croaghgorm rises to 674 meters within the Bluestack Mountains, marking the highest point of this range in northern County Donegal.

The mountain's terrain contains remnants of a World War II aircraft that crashed on its slopes during military operations in the region.

Local communities refer to the mountain range as 'na Cruacha', while its Irish name 'An Chruach Ghorm' translates directly to 'the blue stack'.

Multiple access points, including Barnsmore Gap and Edergole Farm, provide different routes to reach the summit through varied terrain conditions.

From the peak, visitors can observe panoramic views extending across southern Donegal and reaching the distant hills of Sligo and Leitrim.
