Ramnathi, Hindu temple in Goa, India
Ramnathi temple contains a black stone statue of Lord Hanuman, with its three-tiered Rajagopuram tower facing the southern direction.
The temple gained recognition during the Vijayanagar Empire period when Krishna Deva Raya supported its construction and consecration ceremonies.
Regular ceremonies occur at Ramnathi temple on Saturdays during Hanuman Jayanti celebrations, drawing large numbers of worshippers from surrounding regions.
The temple maintains daily operations from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with direct bus and train connections from Bangalore through Dharwad and Hubli stations.
According to local accounts, the placement of the temple resulted from a divine vision indicating the presence of a Hanuman statue beneath nearby lake waters.
