Jajwala Mata Temple

Jajwala Mata Temple is a Hindu shrine in Jobner where natural flames continuously burn through rock fissures in the ground. The site features an open temple area built around these burning stones, creating a distinctive place of worship without conventional idols.

According to tradition, a cowherd discovered the burning rocks while chasing a cow that had strayed from the herd. This encounter became the foundation story that established the site as a sacred destination for devotees.

Pilgrims visit to worship the eternal flames as a manifestation of divine power, particularly during religious festivals. The site serves as an active place of worship where devotees gather to offer prayers and perform rituals.

The temple remains accessible throughout the year, though crowds gather most densely during spring and autumn festivals. Comfortable shoes are recommended since you will walk on uneven ground to view the burning rocks and flame fissures.
