Gymnasium Wasagasse, Secondary school in Alsergrund district, Vienna, Austria

Located on Wasagasse street at number 10, this educational institution occupies a grand building designed by architect Heinrich von Ferstel in 1871.

In 1938, following the Anschluss, the school relocated to Schottengymnasium's building as Nazi authorities repurposed the original structure for administrative functions.

The school maintains a commemorative plaque installed in 2007 through the Erinnern project, documenting the experiences of former Jewish students during World War II.

The institution includes two separate gymnasiums, with the main facility at Wasagasse 10 and an additional sports complex at Wasagasse 20.

Nobel laureate Karl Landsteiner and Academy Award-winning composer Ernest Gold studied at this institution, which now offers programs in classical and modern languages.
