Raiffeisen Tower

Raiffeisen Tower is an office building with 22 floors located in Vienna's Leopoldstadt district. The structure is built from glass and steel, providing extensive spaces for offices and multiple corporate operations.

The site was previously home to the OPEC headquarters before Raiffeisen-Holding acquired the property in 2007. Construction of the tower began in 2010, transforming the location into a modern office complex.

The tower shapes the local skyline with its illuminated glass facade that stands out especially after dark. This contemporary design shows how modern office buildings fit into Vienna's urban landscape.

The tower stands between two well-known Vienna buildings and is easily accessible from the nearby Danube Canal. Visitors should know that access to office areas is restricted since the tower primarily serves as a private workplace.

The tower was built in an exceptionally tight urban setting, squeezed between the Mercure Hotel and an IBM building. Despite these spatial constraints, a functional high-rise emerged that demonstrates how modern architecture adapts to cramped city spaces.
