Carlington Park, Urban park in west Ottawa, Canada
The park features multiple baseball diamonds, spacious picnic areas, and a mountain bike pump track built on one of Ottawa's highest natural points.
Between 1960 and 1965, the park's main hill operated as a ski facility with a T-bar lift that could transport 1,400 skiers per hour.
The Carlington Recreation Centre at the park hosts community programs, courses, and camps that bring local residents together throughout the year.
Visitors can access gender-neutral washrooms, change rooms, covered gazebos, and free parking spaces both on the street and within the grounds.
The Carlington Heights Reservoir and Pump Station at the top of the hill supplies approximately one third of Ottawa's water supply.
