Rinerhorn

Rinerhorn is a summit in Graubunden reaching 2,053 meters in elevation, offering panoramic views across the Alps and surrounding valleys. A six-person gondola cable car connects the Glaris valley station directly to the peak.

The mountain landscape around Rinerhorn was shaped over centuries by traditional alpine farming with livestock grazing and meadow maintenance. These historical practices formed the terrain as it exists today.

The Jatzmeder restaurant on the summit serves regional Graubünden specialties and mountain cuisine to visitors. The space hosts regular gatherings where people experience local dining traditions.

The cable car operates daily from early June through mid-October, making access to the summit straightforward. The restaurant at the top provides a good place to rest and enjoy the views.

In winter, a 3.5-kilometer sledging run with 24 curves is lit up on Wednesday and Friday evenings. This night sledging adds a unique recreational element to the mountain experience.
