Katholische Kirche Felix und Regula

The Katholische Kirche Felix und Regula is a modern Catholic church in Zürich's Kreis 4 district with a circular floor plan and a flat concrete shell dome. The interior is defined by a broad band of stained glass windows beneath the dome, designed by artist Ferdinand Gehr.

Fritz Metzger designed this building in 1950, creating a bold departure from the traditional longitudinal layout of churches. The circular form was a courageous step in post-war architecture and set new standards for church design.
