Calvinium, Conference hall and music venue in Geneva, Switzerland
Calvinium is a versatile event space in Geneva designed to accommodate conferences and musical performances. The facility contains multiple halls equipped with modern lighting, professional audio systems, and broadcast technology.
The building was designed in 1867 by architect Jean-Henri Merle d'Aubigné and became a center for international diplomatic gatherings. It hosted the inaugural League of Nations assembly in 1920.
The building stands at the intersection of Rue du Rhône and Boulevard Helvétique, representing both Swiss architectural design and Geneva's diplomatic traditions.
The venue offers different hall sizes to suit various event formats, ranging from smaller conferences to larger performances. Modern facilities allow flexible setup for different types of gatherings.
After serving as a central location for international gatherings for 42 years, the original structure was replaced with a building housing the South African consulate.
