Universal Studios Beijing, Theme park in Wenjing Subdistrict, China
Universal Studios Beijing is a theme park in Wenjing Subdistrict, China, with seven themed zones that draw from popular film series and entertainment properties. The complex covers more than fifty hectares and features rides, live shows, dining areas, and the CityWalk shopping district at its entrance.
Construction started in 2016 and lasted five years until the opening in September 2021. It marked the first time the Universal Studios brand built a park on the Chinese mainland.
The park integrates Chinese elements with global entertainment franchises through its architecture, shows, and the NUO Resort Hotel design inspired by imperial gardens.
The nearest subway stop is Universal Resort, which connects the Batong line and Line 7, making it reachable from many parts of the city. Arriving early helps visitors avoid long waits at the most popular attractions.
The Transformers zone features a storyline and design created only for this location in Beijing. Visitors can walk among towering robot figures and interact with elements not found at other Universal parks.
