All Saints' Abbey

A duchess founded this monastery in 1192, and it gained official approval from regional and church leaders a few years later. The community then grew strong enough to establish other religious houses across the region.

The monastery served as a gathering place for monks and pilgrims over many centuries, with prayer and spiritual practice shaping daily life here. The remaining stone structures still reflect the quiet devotion that once defined the community.

The location sits in forest hills and comfortable walking shoes are advisable, as reaching it involves a hiking path. Nearby waterfalls can easily be accessed from here if you wish to extend your exploration.
