All Saints Waterfalls

All Saints Waterfalls is a waterfall system in the Black Forest where the Lierbach stream cascades over steep rock faces in a series. The water drops approximately 83 meters total through the forest terrain.

The trail to the waterfalls opened in 1840 after forest authorities built wooden stairs and bridges. Before that, visitors had to use dangerous ladders to reach the cascades.

The name refers to the nearby All Saints Monastery ruins, which reflect the religious past of the region. Visitors can see these historical remains while walking through the site.

Parking areas sit near the waterfall for easy access to the trail. The marked paths feature stairs and multiple viewing platforms, though some sections are quite steep.

Deep basins have formed under each cascade from the rock formation, earning the system the German nickname 'Seven Tubs'. These natural pools were carved by the relentless force of falling water over time.
