Schwabing-West

Schwabing-West is a residential district in Munich where Leopoldstraße runs as the main avenue, lined with shops, cafés, and international fashion stores. The entire area contains smaller streets filled with galleries and independent businesses that give the neighborhood its lively character.

On Leopoldstraße stands the Walking Man, a 17-meter-tall steel figure by American artist Jonathan Borofsky. The artwork is one of the district's most recognizable landmarks and immediately catches the eye.
