Kleiner Ravensberg

Kleiner Ravensberg is a forested hill within Potsdam's boundaries that rises 114 meters and features established walking trails. The dense woodland and gentle slopes create the landscape character of this elevated area.

The hill formed during the Weichselian glaciation as part of a push moraine that shaped the regional geology. This glacial origin continues to define the topographic character of the area today.

The woodland around the summit serves as a familiar retreat where Potsdam residents walk and spend time outdoors throughout the year. Local families often visit to enjoy the forested surroundings and connect with nature close to home.

The summit has a topographic prominence of 69 meters and stands as the most isolated peak among Potsdam's hills. This isolation makes it the most visually distinct elevated point in the local landscape.
