Berufsakademie Eisenach

Berufsakademie Eisenach operates from a protected historic building that once housed the Carl-Alexander School and now offers specialized educational programs. The structure displays classical architecture and serves today as a training facility for fields such as production technology and business administration.

The institution was founded in 1998 as a second location of the State Study Academy of Thuringia, marking an expansion of vocational higher education in the region. In 2016 it became part of Gera-Eisenach Cooperative State University and joined a larger university network.

The academy works closely with local companies and gives students the chance to apply classroom learning directly on the job. This connection between study and work shapes daily life at the institution.
