Founded in 1994, the museum emerged from a technical cabinet established in 1980 by railway enthusiasts at the former Falkenberg engine shed.
Former railway employees conduct weekend tours, sharing first-hand experiences and knowledge about the development of Falkenberg station through generations.
The museum opens Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 15:00, with admission prices of 2 euros for adults and 1 euro for children.
Visitors can use an antique ticket printer that produces nostalgic tickets for a journey from Calau to Leipzig priced in historical marks.
