Erzbischöfliches Ordinariat Freiburg, Romanesque administrative building in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany.
The Archiepiscopal Ordinariate extends 80 meters along Schoferstrasse with a main facade constructed from red sandstone and ornamental details.
Built between 1903 and 1906 by architect Raimund Jeblinger, the building stands on the former site of the Augustinian monastery of All Saints from 1700.
Franz Schilling painted the interior staircase with artworks influenced by Byzantine, Egyptian, and Celtic styles, leading visitors from dark to light spaces.
The administrative center operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 12:30 and 13:15 to 17:30 at Schoferstrasse 2 in Freiburg im Breisgau.
The entrance area resembles a Roman crypt, transitioning to brighter spaces with narrower columns and additional windows on upper floors.
