Burg Landeck

Burg Landeck is a castle ruin near Teningen located at about 285 meters elevation with substantial stone walls remaining from the medieval period. The site displays building structures from different construction phases and offers views across the surrounding Baden-Württemberg landscape.

The castle was founded around 1200 and originally served as a defensive fortification to monitor the region in Freiburg District. The structure demonstrates how significant this location was for territorial control in the area.
