Burg Langendorf, Medieval water castle in Zülpich, Germany.
The three-winged outer bailey and main house of Burg Langendorf span around a rectangular courtyard with a round corner tower from the 15th century.
The castle, first documented in 1240 as a manor owned by the Count of Jülich, transferred to the von Gertzen family during the 15th century.
The northern basement features two ornate ribbed vault ceilings from 1500, which served as a space for conducting court sessions.
Access to Burg Langendorf requires advance arrangements for group tours, allowing visitors to examine the preserved Gothic architectural elements.
The western wing maintains its original stone exterior walls and roof structure from 1568, while other sections underwent renovations in the 1880s.
