Churpfalzpark Loifling

Churpfalzpark Loifling is a theme park near Cham featuring more than 80 rides and attractions including roller coasters, water slides, and themed play areas spread across the grounds. The facility combines amusement rides with extensive flower gardens that provide a colorful backdrop throughout the year.

The park began in 1971 and introduced its first rides in 1981, growing into one of eastern Bavaria's major attractions. This early focus on combining recreation with horticulture has remained central to the site's character ever since.

The gardens here showcase thousands of dahlias, tulips, and roses that bloom throughout the year in carefully tended beds. Visitors stroll through colorful flower displays that have become a focal point of the park experience alongside the rides.

The park is accessible by car with ample parking and by public transport from Cham. Plan to spend the day walking between different areas and bring comfortable shoes since the site covers significant ground.

Visitors can ride medieval-style rafts through castle structures and engage in interactive battles using foam cannons on pirate ships. These hands-on attractions offer a different experience from typical roller coasters.
