Freizeitpark Lochmühle

Freizeitpark Lochmühle is an amusement park in Wehrheim with a wide variety of playgrounds, rides, and interactive stations for children of all ages. The facility spreads across several areas with different attractions, ranging from classic play equipment to modern activities.

The Lochmühle was originally a mill operation with history reaching back to the 13th century. After destruction during the Thirty Years' War, the site was rebuilt and later transformed into an amusement park.

The park integrates elements of farm life and agricultural education through various attractions and activities, connecting children with rural traditions.

The park is best reached by car or public transport, with parking available throughout the grounds. There are also grilling and rest areas across the grounds where families can prepare their own meals.

One of the highlights is the Baumwipfelpfad, a climbing adventure among the treetops that appeals to adults as well. Equally unusual are the electric donkey rides and a Roman-themed obstacle course that are not found in typical amusement parks.
