Haus Villigst

Haus Villigst is a complex of several buildings in Schwerte with two large assembly halls and numerous smaller spaces. The facility provides lodging accommodations and seminar rooms, serving as a venue for various types of gatherings and events.

The site originated in the 12th century as a fortified castle belonging to a knight in the region. The current building complex was constructed in the early 19th century under the direction of architect Engelbert Kleinhanz and has shaped the landscape ever since.
