St.-Victor- church, Romanesque church in Schwerte, Germany.
The St. Victor Church features a three-aisled Gothic hall design with a prominent slate-covered tower rising above the surrounding structures.
The church originated in 1050 following a land donation from Reinmod of Cappenberg to the Viktor monastery in Xanten in 1032.
The interior holds the Antwerp Retable, an 8.5-meter-high altar piece created by artists of the Antwerp Luke Guild, depicting scenes from Jesus's life.
The church opens its doors to visitors during Saturday market days, with regular Lutheran services taking place throughout the week.
Three bells from 1920 named Peace, Justice, and Joy ring from the west tower, accompanied by a bronze clock bell dating to 1523.
