The Lutherhaus stands as a half-timbered patrician building in central Eisenach, featuring multiple exhibition spaces across several floors.
Martin Luther resided in this building between 1498 and 1501 during his school years, when the Cotta family provided him accommodation.
The museum displays original works by Lucas Cranach and houses the baptismal register containing Johann Sebastian Bach's registration entry.
The museum includes wheelchair-accessible exhibition galleries, a shop selling religious literature, and offers guided tours in multiple languages.
Visitors can print a page of the Luther Bible using a replica of the Gutenberg press in the dedicated Luther Workshop section.
