Martin-Luther-Kirche, Lutheran church building in Emden, Germany.
The brick Martin-Luther-Kirche features a 50-meter tower crowned with a swan symbol and contains numerous biblical reliefs throughout its interior walls.
Built in 1958, this church replaced the previous 1775 structure that was destroyed during a bombing raid on June 7, 1942.
The circular Phoenix window above the western portal depicts a bird rising above burning Emden, representing the city's reconstruction after World War II.
The church accommodates 1,200 people and measures 44 by 20 meters, making it the largest post-war church of the Evangelical Lutheran State Church of Hanover.
The Beckerath organ, installed in 1995, contains 44 registers across three manuals and pedal, establishing it as the largest organ in Emden.
