Martin-Luther-Kirche, Lutheran church building in Emden, Germany.

The Martin-Luther-Kirche is a brick church building with a 50 meter tower topped by a swan symbol. The interior walls feature numerous biblical reliefs throughout the space.

The building was constructed in 1958 to replace the previous 1775 church that was destroyed during a bombing raid on June 7, 1942. The new structure arose as part of the city's post-war rebuilding.

The Phoenix window on the western side shows a bird rising above flames, representing the city's rebirth after World War II. This artwork became the main visual symbol of hope and new beginnings for the community.

The interior accommodates approximately 1,200 people across a space that is 44 meters long and 20 meters wide. It is easily accessible and offers plenty of room for visitors to explore.

The Beckerath organ was installed in 1995 and is the largest organ in the city with 44 registers across three manuals and pedal. Music lovers appreciate this instrument for its rich and nuanced sound during concerts and services.
