Peterskirche

Peterskirche is a Gothic church in Heidelberg featuring pointed arches, colored glass windows, and detailed wooden carvings throughout its interior. Multiple levels of architectural detail catch the eye as you move through the space.

The church was originally built in the 12th century but was substantially rebuilt between 1485 and 1496. After damage in the late 17th century, it underwent major restoration work from 1864 to 1870.
