Scharrena Stuttgart, Indoor sports arena in Bad Cannstatt, Germany.
Scharrena Stuttgart is an indoor sports hall located in Bad Cannstatt, built beneath the Unterthürkheimer Kurve stand of the MHPArena. It provides seating for up to 2,019 spectators and serves as a venue for volleyball competitions and other sporting events.
The City of Stuttgart funded the construction of this hall with an investment of 13.15 million euros, opening it in 2011. The project was developed to provide contemporary facilities for local sports organizations.
The venue hosts Allianz MTV Stuttgart volleyball matches and has become a gathering place where local sports enthusiasts come to watch their team compete. This role has made it central to the community's athletic calendar.
Access to the venue is typically through the South entrance, with the North entrance opening only when attendance is very high. Allow extra time for arrival during major events that draw large crowds.
The facility's name combines the branding of the SCHARR company with 'arena', resulting from a naming rights partnership. This agreement extends through 2031 and shapes how the venue is known locally.
