Gut Düssin is an extensive estate in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern with a Victorian-style manor house and numerous outbuildings including agricultural structures and workers' dwellings. The grounds span several hundred hectares and combine residential quarters, farming facilities, and historic structures in a single complex.
The estate first appeared in records in 1230 and remained under von Pentz family ownership for centuries. Following 1945, ownership changed several times and various buildings were adapted for different uses.
The manor house was inhabited by the von Pentz family and shaped the village character with its English architectural style. The estate served as the cultural and economic center of rural life in the region for generations.
The estate can be visited through guided tours that provide access to the protected buildings, some of which serve modern commercial purposes. Tours are the best way to see the complex, as the broader grounds are not always freely open to visitors.
