Schloss Kempfenhausen, Architectural heritage monument in Berg, Germany
Schloss Kempfenhausen stands as a three-story building with a gabled roof and a projecting section on its northern side within a garden setting.
The castle was constructed between 1515 and 1520 for Arsatius Barth, and in 1850 the property transferred to the Schauss family before being sold to economist August Sartorius.
The building preserves medieval and early modern architectural elements, representing the evolution of Bavarian noble residences through different historical periods.
The castle currently serves as an event venue managed by Munich's Department of Health and Environment, offering various spaces for different types of gatherings.
The property includes an ornamental garden and fruit orchard that were enclosed before 1700, with a circular driveway added by Count Bylandt in 1909.
