Vogelpark Viernheim

Vogelpark Viernheim is a zoo and bird park with open-air aviaries and enclosures in southern Hesse. The site displays flamingos, storks, geese, ducks, ibises, and various pheasant species in large outdoor settings.

The park was founded in 1960 and expanded in the 1980s with a large hall for winter protection. This infrastructure allowed it to care for more sensitive species year-round.
