Sankt Alto und Birgitta, Baroque parish church in Altomünster, Germany.

The church features an octagonal main hall covered by a suspended dome reaching 18 meters in height with angel-shaped caryatids supporting the structure.

The church stands on the site of a 13th-century Romanesque building and underwent reconstruction between 1763 and 1773 under architect Johann Michael Fischer.

The ceiling frescoes by Joseph Mages depict the Trinity and events from monastery history, including the founding by Saint Alto.

The church tower contains six ringing bells and a carillon with 24 bells that automatically plays melodies since December 2005.

Two red marble epitaphs honoring Christina von Machslrain and Barbara von Adelzhausen are displayed in the entrance hall near the doorway.
