Ainmillerstraße 22, Heritage residential building in Schwabing-Freimann, Germany.
The four-story structure at Ainmillerstraße 22 features a polychrome facade with figurative decorations and semi-circular windows designed by Felix Schmidt and Ernst Haiger.
The building, constructed during the art nouveau period, represents one of nine remaining architectural monuments on Ainmillerstraße that survived World War II damage.
The structure stands among numerous houses where notable artists like Wassily Kandinsky, Gabriele Münter, and Rainer Maria Rilke lived during Munich's bohemian period.
Visitors can reach the building using tram lines 27 and 28 to Elisabethplatz or U-Bahn stations U2 Josephsplatz and U3/U6 Giselastraße.
The golden details on the facade create distinct visual patterns when illuminated by evening sunlight, highlighting the architectural craftsmanship of the period.
