Schwabing-Freimann

Schwabing-Freimann extends over 25 square kilometers, combining residential areas, green spaces, and commercial districts in the northern section of Munich.

The district emerged from the fusion of Schwabing, a center for artists and writers in the 19th century, and Freimann, a former agricultural settlement.

The district contains the Studentenstadt, a dedicated housing complex for university students, forming its own micro-community within Munich.
